Questions

How is it different than Claude or any other AI tool?

Claude or Codex can draft a video on your own. When something isn’t right, the only fix is to ask again, and that can go round in circles: one fix breaks something else, and you never quite get there.

Productake is the other path. A short brief becomes an on-brand video, and when you want an expert finish you click Send to expert. A designer makes the changes for you.

What you get with us that you don’t get on your own

  • Real designers, not endless prompting. When you want changes, click “Send to expert” and a designer edits your video by hand: exact text, timing, colours, cursor moves, whatever needs fixing. No re-prompting, no starting over, no going in circles. You review it, ask for changes if needed, and approve. You can follow every request on your Design Requests board.
  • Made for product marketing. Agents built for Launch videos, Walkthrough videos, UI Animation videos, Explainer videos, ads and banners, each designed to give a professional result for that kind of content.
  • Your real product, animated. Your actual product screens, brought to life with cursor moves, clicks, typing, zooms and smooth screen-to-screen flows.
  • Agency-quality motion. Polished, studio-grade animation and transitions: the look you’d expect from a motion design agency, not a quick AI animation.
  • Your brand, saved once. Logos, colours, your exact fonts, button styles, product screens and photos, used automatically every time.
  • Voiceover and music. Voiceover and music where the video needs it.
  • Checked before you see it. Automatic quality checks catch problems with layout, text and timing.
  • Everything in one place. Videos, ads and banners for every brand in one shared Library.
  • No prompting skill needed. A short brief, and the same quality every time, whoever on the team makes it.
For on-demand video editing, what is considered editing?

What is considered editing?

Changes that keep the same video: the same idea, style and roughly the same length.

  • Text. Fix typos, change wording of headlines, captions or the call to action, update the website or end-card details.
  • Brand. Correct colours, fonts or logo (swap, resize, move, light or dark version).
  • Timing. Speed up or slow down a scene, hold a moment longer or shorter, reorder existing scenes, trim, or stretch slightly (no more than about 5 seconds overall).
  • Visual fixes. Overlapping or cut-off text, glitches, flicker, awkward transitions, cursor path, clicks and zooms.
  • Screens. Replace a screenshot with an updated version of the same screen, or blur private data.
  • Sound. Swap music from our library, adjust volume, or fix the voiceover after a small script correction in the same language.
  • Rounds. Up to 2 rounds of changes.

What is not considered editing?

These count as a new video:

  • A new idea, script or storyboard.
  • A different style, or a different agent.
  • New scenes, or features that weren’t in the original.
  • A much longer video (for example 15 s to 30 s).
  • Other sizes or shapes (square or vertical versions), or other languages.
  • Custom illustration, 3D, characters or live footage.
  • Designing product screens that don’t exist yet.
  • The same video for another brand.
  • Source files (the editable project).
  • Extra rounds, or changes after you have approved the final file.
What can I turn into a video?

Your product’s UI screens, a launch announcement, a feature, or just an idea in a few sentences. Walkthrough videos and UI Animation videos need screens; Launch videos and Explainer videos only need a short brief.

Do I need design or editing experience?

No. You pick an agent, write a short brief and choose a few options like length and format. Productake plans the scenes, motion, voice and music. When you want a change made by hand, click Send to expert.

How long does a video take?

An AI draft usually takes 10 to 40 minutes, depending on the agent and length. You can leave the page; finished videos appear in your Library. Expert edits show up on your Design Requests board.

How do tokens work?

Each video costs a set number of tokens, depending on the agent and its length: about 50 tokens per minute of video. The Free plan includes one free video of any type, with a small watermark. Packs are one-time purchases — there is no subscription — and if a video fails, its tokens come back automatically.

How long are tokens valid?

Purchased tokens are valid for 90 days from the day you buy them.

Can I use the videos commercially?

Yes. Videos made with a paid pack have no watermark and can be used in ads, on your website and on social media.

Who can see my screens and videos?

Only you. Uploads and videos are stored privately and are never shared with other accounts or used for other brands. A designer sees a video only when you click Send to expert.
